Trashion Show to benefit seniors

Teens arrested for attempted murder
Three juvenile males have been arrested for a series of crimes that began Friday with a carjacking in Watsonville and ended Saturday night with a police chase in King City following a shooting that critically injured an 18-year-old man.
Gonzales student’s heritage hog sells for $33K
Gonzales High School FFA Chapter President and Monterey Bay Sectional Reporter Samantha Santos, who was selected as the Monterey County Fair’s 2017 Heritage Scholarship winner, auctioned off two hogs Sept. 2 at the fair, one of which — the heritage hog — sold for more than $33,000.

The Monterey Museum of Art has announced that multi-media artist Hector Dionicio Mendoza, a former King City resident, will host a one-month artist-in-residency and mixed-media art project.
COLOR BLAST
Chalone Peaks Middle School hosted a Color Run on Nov. 3 with more than 120 participants and volunteers, including students and families from all the King City schools.
