Four staff members from Sol Treasures’ Children’s Theater program recently attended a three-day Broadway Teachers Workshop in New York City for drama teachers to enhance their students’ learning experience.
Scholarship winners recognized by local Republican Women Federated
Two special guests joined the Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated for its monthly meeting last week at Lawrence’s Restaurant in King City — high school graduates Veronica Gasca of Greenfield and Thomas Stephens of King City, who both earned scholarships from the nonprofit.
Change of Command
Col. Kerry E. Norman has taken charge of the largest Army Reserve installation and the seventh largest post in the nation, becoming Fort Hunter Liggett’s newest garrison commander at a Change of Command ceremony conducted last Friday.
