The King City High boys basketball program held the end of year awards night and banquet March 12 at the school cafeteria. Players, coaches and parents for the Pony, Bronco and Mustang teams attended the event.

The South Valley Stealth softball team placed third in the 16 and under B Division at the Northern California Qualifying Tournament this past weekend at the Twin Creeks Softball Complex in Sunnyvale.

This year’s boys golf players from King City High School are Aden Pena, Jake King, Max Tugel, Israel Santiago, Christopher Martinez and Tanner King. Both Pena and Tugel earned first-team all-league honors in the Cypress Division based on their golf scores.

The King City Lady Mustangs won on the road and at home to start the Mission Trail Athletic League with a 2-0 record and improved to 9-0 overall.

The Greenfield High School softball team held an award night last week to honor the players on the Lady Bruin and Lady Bruin JV teams.
