EASTER EVENT

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Recreation Department invites the community to attend its 2023 Easter Event on Saturday, April 1. ARTIST GRANTS

MONTEREY COUNTY — Individual Artist Grant Program provides a financial stipend up to $5,000 to selected artists in emerging and established stages of their career who demonstrate that this support will make a big impact on their work and on the community. Arts Council for Monterey County is inviting emerging and established artists to apply for this grant to develop and further their skills in artistic expression. Deadline to apply is April 3. LUNCHEON MEETING

KING CITY — Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will host its monthly luncheon meeting Tuesday, April 4, at 11:30 a.m. at King Kora Restaurant, 611 Canal St., in King City. The guest speaker will be George Worthy, columnist for the King City Rustler and Salinas Valley Tribune newspapers. The subject of his talk will be “Politics in the Salinas Valley.” Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting. BONUS BRIEF: COMMUNITY SURVEY

MONTEREY COUNTY — Association of Monterey Bay Association of Governments (AMBAG), which makes decisions about how millions of dollars are spent each year to improve public transit, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and local roads and highways, is seeking input from residents on how best to involve them in these decisions in the future. As a result, it has released an online survey to receive input as it prepares the 2023 Public Participation Plan. The survey is available through Friday, April 28, at surveymonkey.com/r/95YGRLT.
