PARK SURVEY
GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield’s Parks and Recreation Committee would like to receive feedback on better utilizing the tennis court space at the Greenfield Community Park on Third and Apple. Currently, it is not used for tennis, and the City would like to know what other amenities or equipment can be installed to better serve the community. All input will be recorded and used to make recommendations to the City Council. The survey can be found at tinyurl.com/4akrrk96.
TRANSPORTATION BOARD
MONTEREY COUNTY — The Board of Directors of the Transportation Agency for Monterey County has elected the following members to serve as its officers and members of the Executive Committee: Chris Lopez, Chair; Dave Potter, 1st Vice Chair; Wendy Root Askew, 2nd Vice Chair; Mike LeBarre, Past Chair; Luis Alejo, County Representative; and Chaps Poduri, City Representative. Their terms began upon their election at the beginning of the Jan. 24 Board meeting through the next election of officers.
JOB FAIRS
SALINAS — Monterey County Workforce Development Board has planned a series of in-person job fairs, online recruitments and workshops this month. On Wednesday, Feb. 14, a Workforce Wednesday event will take place at America’s Job Center, 344 Salinas St., Suite 203, in Salinas from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Attendees can participate in a resume workshop, interview preparation and mock interviews. On Feb. 21, a Multiple Employer Job Fair is set for America’s Job Center from 2 to 5 p.m. Then, on Feb. 22, an online recruitment with California Prison Industry Authority will be held on the Premier Virtual platform from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. To register, go to montereycountyworks.com and click on “Events.” More job fairs and recruitments are planned for later this month.
