KING CITY — Monterey County Office of Education will be partnering with King City Union School District to host a Paraeducator Job Fair on Thursday, April 7, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Boardroom of the district office, 104 S. Vanderhurst Ave.
COP CAMP
SOLEDAD — Soledad Police Department will be hosting its first Cop Camp for local youth, with two sessions scheduled for Saturday, April 9. Activities include a series of police and emergency responder demonstrations, physical activities, team building exercises, jail and police station tours and more. The event is limited to 100 participants, ages 9 to 17, who must be registered in advance. Applications are at the police station, 236 Main St., or call 831-223-5161 for more information.
MISSION DAYS
JOLON — Mission San Antonio de Padua’s annual Mission Days event will take place Saturday, April 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Authentic mission era food will be offered, with water and soft drinks also available for purchase. There will be historical re-enactors and demonstrations of mission crafts and activities, including weaving, blacksmithing, candle making and tortilla making. Members of Los Arribeños de San Francisco will perform historical Californio music and dance from the mission period, and local artists will display original artwork.
