Lady Mustangs sweep Trojans, 3-0
Grace Shepherd had 17 kills and five blocks as the King City Lady Mustang volleyball swept host Alisal High ā 25-20, 29-27 and 25-14 ā last Thursday night at the Trojan gym in Salinas. The game was the first non-league of the season for King City.

Trailing 14-12 on the road to Gonzales inspired the King City Lady Mustangs to toughen up defensively and keep the Spartans scoreless in the second quarter. Gonzales fell behind at the half, but kept the game close though King City prevailed, 53-48.
