The high school football season may have ended almost a month ago but players from South County are still receiving awards and honors. King City and Soledad high schools recently ended the season with awards nights at their respective school sites.

This year’s boys golf players from King City High School are Aden Pena, Jake King, Max Tugel, Israel Santiago, Christopher Martinez and Tanner King. Both Pena and Tugel earned first-team all-league honors in the Cypress Division based on their golf scores.

Team members of the King City High School wrestling team, coaches, and families celebrated the end of the season with a pizza banquet on March 29.
