KING CITY — Sol Treasures will present a “Home for the Holidays Spectacular” on Thursday night, Dec. 17, from 7 to 8 p.m.
Featuring local, regional and national talent, the virtual show will be hosted by Jeff Hinderschied and Jamie Jones, portraying local fictional characters Dick and Lainey Mills.
“The event is fun for young and old in our community, and a time to embrace the spirit of the holiday,” said Sol Treasures in a news release.
The holiday spectacular can be accessed by going to the organization’s website soltreasures.com/holiday to watch the live stream for free. The show is an “appreciation event to all in the community for the wonderful support throughout the pandemic,” Sol Treasures said.
In addition, Sol Treasures will share information about its Monterey County Gives Campaign at soltreasures.com/mcgives, supporting alternative and virtual methods for delivering art enrichment and education in South Monterey County.
“The hour format is like a holiday variety television show with a local twist,” said President Barbara Pekema, encouraging the community to watch the live stream. “Prepare to be entertained — Thursday at 7 p.m.”
Sol Treasures continues to serve the community through visual, music and performance art programming at this time. Its gift shop is open from 12 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
