KING CITY — The organizers of King City Candy Cane Drive are hosting a Letters to Santa bin at 528 Division St. in King City through Dec. 18. Children can write letters to Santa and place them in the barrel. Organizers said a response letter for participating children is in the works, as well as the possibility of a gift.


GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield is hosting a Holiday House Decorating Contest this year, asking residents to spread holiday cheer by decorating their house. To enter, Greenfield residents can share a photo on Facebook and use the hashtag #GreenfieldHoliday or send a photo to 831-236-5993 before Dec. 19. Five winning houses will each receive a $100 cash prize.


SOLEDAD — Free Covid-19 testing is now available in a drive-thru format at Soledad High School, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays. To make an appointment, call 1-888-634-1123.
