KING CITY — Shoppers recently browsed through more than a dozen booths featuring handmade goods at the Hometown Market on Broadway, hosted by Sol Treasures.

The June 26 open-air market included 18 vendors packed around the art center and neighboring Pete Anderson property on Broadway Street in King City.

According to Sol Treasures Executive Director Jeff Hinderscheid, traffic was non-stop for the gallery’s first post-Covid market, which typically happens annually.

Hinderscheid said Sol Treasures is considering hosting more markets throughout the year, as they not only showcase local and often little-known artisans, but also gets residents inside the gallery to check out the consignment shop. The gallery is located at 519 Broadway St. in King City.
