KING CITY — “Shrek Jr., the Musical” opens Friday, May 5, at 7 p.m., followed by a Saturday performance (May 6) also at 7 p.m. This year Sol Treasures is adding a matinee on Sunday, May 7, at 2 p.m. 

All performances will be held in the Robert Stanton Theater at King City High School.

The Children’s Theater from Sol Treasures and King City High School join together to bring South County an amazing musical involving 45 youth from ages 8 to 18. From beginning to end, the young actors will entertain you and keep you wishing for more. Direction and choreography is by Jeffrey Hinderscheid and musical direction is by Celestina Ripley. 

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and can be purchased at Sol Treasures, 519 Broadway St.
