KING CITY — A midday shooting last Friday resulted in a King City man being shot twice at a local mobile home park.

King City police officers responded to a call for shots fired at 3 p.m. on May 5 in the 200 block of South River Drive at Rio Plaza Mobile Home Estates. Police were unable to find anything except a witness who identified the vehicle as a white Nissan.

The witness said the vehicle pulled over and talked to two male subjects. According to Police Chief Robert Masterson, the driver then got out and shot four times in the direction of the subjects.

One male subject, in his early 20s from King City, was shot at least twice. He was taken to the hospital before King City Police arrived. His current condition and identity has not yet been released.
