SALINAS — Properties master Patrick Musni will go over his experiences today, March 31, at 6 p.m. as part of the Western Stage’s Online Alumni Symposium. Musni is a union stagehand from San Francisco and a member in good standing of Local 16 of the IATSE since 1995. He has 10 years of professional Broadway touring experience, working on the second national tour of “The Lion King,” the first national tour of “Wicked” and the first national tour of “Motown.” He has also worked for 15 years as a union stagehand in various fields, such as stage, trade shows, movie and television production. VACCINE FINISH

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Union School District closed its offices on March 29 to allow staff the opportunity to get their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, as a follow up to their first vaccine received several weeks ago. Some employees were available by phone for parents, but the afternoon closure meant a finish for much of the staff’s immunization journey.


WHARF EASTER

MONTEREY — There will be a giant Easter Bunny roaming the Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey on Saturday, April 3, from 12 to 6 p.m. for distanced photo-ops. On Easter Sunday, April 4, there will be a giant Easter Bunny in front of Candy World who will give out free foiled-wrapped chocolate eggs. In addition, everyone is invited to participate in the Wharf’s “Beyond Bunnies Photo Contest on the Wharf” during the entire month of April.
