SOLEDAD — City of Soledad is now accepting applications for the Soledad Downtown Facade Loan Program. Any business owner or commercial property owner located in the Downtown Commercial District can apply for the program, which can help enhance the appearance of their commercial building and encourage economic development. JOB FAIR

MONTEREY COUNTY — Jobseekers throughout the area are invited to attend a job fair hosted by Monterey County Workforce Development Board on Wednesday, June 29, from 2 to 5 p.m. at 344 Salinas St. in downtown Salinas. PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION

SALINAS — Priority registration is underway for Fall 2022 preschool at the Hartnell College Child Development Center, which remains free to most families. Morning sessions are from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and the afternoon sessions are 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The center, on Hartnell’s Main Campus in Salinas, provides an individualized, play-based learning experience for children ages 3-5. Registration packets can be requested by calling 831-755-6945 or emailing cd*@ha******.edu. Children who will be at least 3 on or before Dec. 2 are eligible. The Fall 2022 session begins Aug. 15.
