MERMAID AUDITIONS

KING CITY — Sol Treasures in King City will be holding auditions for Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” on Jan. 18-19 for youth ages 10 and up. There is a program fee for participation, but scholarship opportunities are available. Go to soltreasures.com for more information.


COUNTY FAIR

MONTEREY — Monterey County Fair has announced the dates for the 2022 edition of the fair, Sept. 1-5, 2022, with the Livestock Show scheduled for the previous weekend, Aug. 24-28, both at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center in Monterey, at 2004 Fairground Road. “We’re excited to announce the dates of next year’s fair, and will announce the theme and artwork at the beginning of the year,” said Fair CEO Kelly Violini. “As in the 2021 Fair, we will hold the Livestock Show, including the popular Junior Livestock Auction, the previous weekend.” For more information, call 831-372-5863.
