DIAPER GIVEAWAY

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Union School District is offering a Diaper Giveaway on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 801 Walnut Ave. The district will be giving away diapers, sizes 1-6, to Greenfield residents only. FARM DAY

KING CITY — More volunteers are being sought to help guide local youth during the South County Farm Day field trip on Thursday, Jan. 27, at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City. The Farm Day experience provides current facts about the agricultural industry of Monterey County to hundreds of third- and fourth-grade students and teachers and gives them the opportunity to become familiar with food production and farming. STUDENT LEADERS

MONTEREY COUNTY — The deadline is fast approaching for students across the Monterey Bay region to apply for Bank of America’s Student Leaders program. This paid summer intern program places two Monterey Bay-based teens into summer jobs with local nonprofits. Last summer they worked at the Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County.
