KING CITY — Sol Treasures’ Holiday Open House is planned for Friday, Dec. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at 519 Broadway St. in King City. Shoppers can check out the gallery and its holiday gifts, while enjoying the King City Chamber of Commerce’s annual Lighted Christmas Parade downtown beginning at 6 p.m. The parade starts at Mildred, travels down Broadway and ends at the Town Square, rain or shine. Sol Treasures’ Hometown Christmas Market, originally scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3, has been canceled due to weather.


CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION — rescheduled

SOLEDAD — City of Soledad and Soledad-Mission Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the holiday season with the 37th Annual Soledad Christmas Celebration Saturday, Dec. 3, at Cesar Chavez Park on Front Street. Festivities will begin at 2 p.m. with entertainment, followed by a parade at 5 p.m. starting at California Gourmet Pizza and a tree lighting ceremony afterward. ***This event has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10, due to weather.


HOLIDAY LIGHTS

GONZALES — City of Gonzales will host its annual Holiday Lights event on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fairview Middle School Joint Use Gym, 560 Fifth St. There will be games, raffles and a chance to meet Santa, along with food and drinks available for purchase. Admission is free.


BONUS BRIEF: VACCINE CLINIC

SOLEDAD — VNA Community Services will be administering free Covid-19 and flu vaccinations at a pop-up clinic hosted by the Soledad McDonald’s, 1215 S. Front St., on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vaccinations are available for ages 2 and up. No appointments or insurance are needed, and all are welcome. A free Big Mac is being offered to anyone who receives a vaccination.
