Noelia Martinez of Greenfield was named to Biola University’s Fall 2023 Dean’s List for academic excellence. Martinez, a cinema and media arts major, was one of approximately 1,600 students who were named to the list, which honors those with a GPA of 3.6 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credits and whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.2. Biola is a nationally ranked Christian university in the heart of Southern California.
Trina Tully-Rodriguez of King City was named to Ohio University’s Fall 2023 Provost’s List. The Provost’s List recognition is shared with high-achieving, part-time undergraduate students who exemplify academic success. Qualifying students must possess a 3.5 or greater GPA and between 6 and 11.99 credit hours attempted for letter grades that are used to calculate GPA. In fall semester 2023, approximately 1,800 of Ohio University’s part-time undergraduate students qualified for the Provost’s List.
Peterson Isidro of Greenfield was named to California State University, Stanislaus’ Fall 2023 Dean’s List. Isidro was among more than 2,000 students named to the list. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and register for and earn a minimum of 12 units of credit of graded coursework at the university.
Gilberto Ramos Jr. of Soledad was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Ramos was initiated at Florida Institute of Technology. Ramos is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are eligible for membership.
