KING CITY — Local law enforcement agencies are investigating a shooting Wednesday evening at a residence in King City.

Officers from the King City Police Department responded to a report of gunshots in the 300 block of North San Lorenzo Street at about 7:36 p.m. on July 6. 

With the assistance of the Soledad and Greenfield police departments, Monterey County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol, the investigation revealed four individuals in a light-colored, four-door Honda “fired multiple shots at the victims who were inside their residence,” police said.

The suspect vehicle then fled westbound on Collins Street.
