Ruby Edna Harrison, formerly of South Monterey County passed away at the age of 100 on November 25, 2018 at her home in Lagunitas, Calif., with her dear friend and caregiver at her side. Ruby was born on March 6, 1918 in Texas.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse (2002) and her children, Sonny (1957) and Vickie (2015). She is survived by her two nephews and their families in Oregon and two nieces and their families in Arizona.

The Harrison family was known to many San Ardo and King City friends when they lived in San Ardo during the 1950’s to early 1970’s. Ruby had a creative artistic talent with her oil and water color paintings.

Ruby got her biggest wish by now rejoining her family. There was a private gathering to honor Ruby and her family on December 18, 2018 at the King City Cemetery.
