Lester Edsel Burns, 80, of Salinas, passed away Sept. 25, 2018, at his home.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1938 to McKinley and Flora May Burns in Oklahoma.

Lester proudly served in the U.S. Army, and went on to work as a government property appraiser for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Burns, and brother, Cecil Burns.

Cremation to take place. A Celebration of Life will be Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at the family ranch, 61861 Argyle Road, King City.
