Delightful banners

It is delightful to go down Broadway and see the banners of King City High School graduates. So many proud faces! I believe these are all honor roll students. (All 86 students showcased are honor roll seniors who graduated with an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. —Editor)

Thanks to CSUMB GEAR UP program for sponsoring the banners. GEAR UP aims to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. They provide early college awareness and support activities to many students.

CSUMB GEAR UP employees serving KCHS, Carlos Gamez and Sarah Norberg, have been wonderful and effective resources to local students. And thanks to City of King employees who put up the banners.
