KING CITY — National Night Out returned to the King City Fire Station last Tuesday, bringing the community together with police officers, firefighters and city employees for one night to build relationships and stand united against crime.
The Aug. 6 event included public safety information, music, free food, bounce houses and a children’s raffle for bicycles.
The annual community-building campaign promotes partnerships between local law enforcement and residents with the goal of making neighborhoods safer.
City of King officials said National Night Out is “another important event in the City’s ongoing effort to work in partnership with the community to end crime and make King City safer.”
