KING CITY — King City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture will recognize the 2022 winners of the organization’s annual business and community awards this weekend.
The 2023 Annual Awards Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, March 4, inside the Orradre Building at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division St., in King City. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., with the dinner, live auction and awards presentation planned for later in the evening.
This year’s honorees are Kasey’s Fitness as Business of the Year; Allie Cullen as Citizen of the Year; Oscar Avalos as Friend of the Community; and Elliot Riley with the Hermie Robles Youth Award, a new accolade given to a local youth for their outstanding service to the community.
Each winner, who was nominated by community members, was surprised with the news late last year by Chamber Manager Janet Bessemer and board members.
“It is our honor to bring the community together to give these awards to such very deserving recipients. They do so much to make King City and South County a wonderful place to live and work,” Bessemer said.
Tickets can be purchased at the King City Chamber office, 200 Broadway St., Ste. 40, or from any Chamber board member. For more information, call 831-385-3814.
