Jackie Miller a Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather left us March 2, 2017 surrounded by his family. Jackie Eugene Miller was born November 27, 1929 in Tryon, OK.
Jackie and Lavonne were married an adventurous sixty-three years. Jackie was an owner operator of Miller’s Electric in King City.
As an avid hunter and fisher he taught his daughters and later his grandchildren his favorite sports. In his later years his true passion was woodworking. Many of his creations can be found around his and his children’s houses. Jackie not only served his community as a member of the King City’s volunteer Fire Department and VFW Post 6747, but also served his country in the United States Navy, most notable the Battle of Inchon, during the Korean War.
Jackie was preceded in death by his son, Jack Jr., daughter, Vonda Lynn, and Brothers, Kenneth and Bob Miller.
He is survived by his wife Lavonne; Virginia Zimmerman, sister; Daughters, Kimberly (Pat) Dennis, Tammi (Craig) Smith, Pamela (Paul) Brooks, and Kelly Reinegger; grandchildren, Heather Block, Jonathan Reinegger, Kayla Reyes, Brandon Brooks, Paige Lewis, Tyler Smith, Ryan Brooks, Beau Reinegger, Chase Smith and Blake Smith; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held 11:30a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA. 95322.
