KING CITY — City of King has contracted with A & T Arborists to begin tree-trimming work next week on select streets.

According to city staff, the trees will be “trimmed for risk reduction, tree preservation and neighborhood beautification.”

Public Works distributed resident notices in advance of the work, which will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, and temporary “No Parking” signs were posted at the locations as well.

Next week the following streets are scheduled:

  • Monday, June 25 — Division St. (S. Vanderhurst Ave. to Canal St.)
  • Tuesday, June 26 — S. San Lorenzo Ave. (Broadway St. to Division St.)
  • Wednesday, June 27 — Bassett St. (S. Vanderhurst Ave. to Canal St.)
