Aureliano Silva, 74, of King City passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018.

Aureliano was born Aug. 16, 1943 in Michoacán, Mexico. He moved to California in the 1960’s, finally settling in King City in 1971.

Aureliano enjoyed barbecuing for his family, listening to music, and was an avid fan of soccer. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and spoiled them with love. For over 40 years, he worked for various ag companies in Monterey County, finally retiring from Rio Farms in 2010. He was a devout parishioner of St. John’s Catholic Church.

Aureliano is survived by his children, Adriana Villanueva, Sandra Cortes, Rino Silva, Junior Silva, Carlos Silva, and Alfredo Silva; 14 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters Patty Lopez and Erica Silva.

Aureliano was laid to rest June 3, 2018 in Michoacán, Mexico.
