KING CITY — King City Wrestling Club grappler Charlotte Garcia was the champion of the 127-pound weight class at the Panther Invitational, hosted by La Paz Middle School on April 4.

Garcia had three decisive victories that included two pins and a 13-2 major decision in the wrestling tournament finals.

Also competing for the King City Wrestling Club was Adalynn Mendez, who lost two straight matches in a best-of-three series at 86 pounds.

The King City Wrestling Club will wrestle again on April 25 in Paso Robles.
