CENTRAL COAST — Pacific Coast Athletic League divisional trials and finals will take place next week for high school track and field teams from Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties.

Gonzales, Greenfield and King City have completed the regular season in the Santa Lucia and Gabilan divisions, respectively, and Soledad has one meet remaining in the Mission Division on Thursday at North Salinas High School.

On Tuesday, April 23, Gonzales and Greenfield will compete in the Santa Lucia Division trials at Pajaro Valley High School; King City will travel to Salinas for the Gabilan Division trials at Rancho San Juan High School; and Soledad will drive to Salinas for the Mission Division trials at North Salinas High School.

Divisional championship finals will take place on Friday, April 26, with Gonzales and Greenfield at Monte Vista Christian High School; King City at Hollister High School; and Soledad at Seaside High School.

The top placers from each division will qualify for the PCAL Masters Meet that will be hosted on Friday, May 3, at Pacific Grove High School. Qualifiers from that meet advance to the Central Coast Section semifinals on Saturday, May 11, at Gilroy High School.

CCS finals take place on Saturday, May 18, at Gilroy.
