KING CITY — Chalone Peaks Middle School of King City has been winning every track and field meet in all grades and genders this spring.

On May 2 at King City High’s War Memorial Stadium, Chalone Peaks won a four-team competition against Main Street Middle School of Soledad, Vista Verde Middle School of Greenfield and Fairview Middle School of Gonzales.

“Briseis Zamora is an eighth-grade student-athlete and is the biggest standout in only her first year doing track,” said Chalone Peaks head coach Ismael Rocha. “Honestly, there’s a ton of standouts for us this season.”

Last Thursday, Chalone Peaks also dominated in a meet held at Dick Force Stadium in Gonzales.
