SALINAS VALLEY — Taylor Farms has awarded scholarships to 32 new recipients through its 2026 annual scholarship program, distributing $575,000 in higher education assistance to employees and their children.
According to the company, the latest awards bring the total amount of scholarship funding distributed since the program began to nearly $5.3 million.
The scholarship program supports tuition for higher education for full-time Taylor Farms employees and their children. Company officials said the program reflects Taylor Farms’ commitment to investing in its workforce and their families.
“Education opens doors and breaks barriers — it creates equal opportunity to thrive and be the best you can be,” said Bruce Taylor, chairman and CEO of Taylor Farms. “At Taylor Farms, we believe investing in our team members and their families is one of the most meaningful things we can do as a company. Every scholarship we award reflects that commitment, and we are incredibly proud of this year’s recipients and look forward to watching them succeed.”
The 2026 scholarship class includes 20 Extraordinary Scholarships for students pursuing degrees at four-year universities, nine Innovative Scholarships for students attending junior colleges and trade schools, and three Employee Scholarships for Taylor Farms employees continuing their own education.

The annual scholarship application and award process is administered in partnership with the Community Foundation for Monterey County.
