KING CITY — Sun Street Centers hosted a ribbon cutting May 2 to celebrate the grand opening of its men’s and women’s residential treatment program for South County residents at the King City Recovery Center.

“I am so thrilled to be able to continue to expand our services in King City with the opening of our men’s and women’s residential drug treatment program,” said Sun Street Centers CEO Anna Foglia.

The inpatient housing is the second phase of renovation completed at the substance abuse treatment facility, which opened last year with a new outpatient services building at 638 Broadway St.

The facility also plans to open its sober living housing later this year.
