Awards night honors players, coaches

The King City High boys basketball program held the end of year awards night and banquet March 12 at the school cafeteria. Players, coaches and parents for the Pony, Bronco and Mustang teams attended the event.

A 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Brett Baker to receiver Tony Amezcua in the third quarter held up as the Correctional Training Facility at Soledad Grey football team defeated the CTF Blue team 14-6 at Saturday’s Blue/Grey Game at Greenfield High School.

King City Ponies win league title

For the first time since 1969 the King City High Pony basketball team won the Mission Trail Athletic League frosh boys championship.
