Mustangs win last MTAL championship

A sixth straight championship also meant an end of an era for the King City boys track and field team. The Mustangs won the Mission Trail Athletic League in what was the last championship meet for them in the MTAL as next year King City, Gonzales, Greenfield and Soledad will be members of the Pacific Coast Athletic League.

Mustangs win frosh-soph title

The King City boys track and field team won nine events and scored 181 points at Thursday Mission Trail Athletic League frosh-soph championship at War Memorial Stadium.

In games played at home and away, the King City Mustang baseball team downed the Marina Mariners in Mission Trail Athletic League play.
