The Gonzales Major Little League Dodgers completed a great season with a 21-5-1 overall record for a second place finish in the California District 9 Tournament of Champions.
Mustang boys win track team title
King City senior distance runner Roman Munoz scored 30 points in three events to lead the Mustang to a fifth straight Mission Trail Athletic League championship on Saturday at Pacific Grove High School.
Battle of the Coast
Hot weather and hot boxing took place in King City for the Battle of the Coast Boxing Show hosted by the King City and San Ardo Boxing Clubs. A total of 13 bouts were fought, including four matches that featured members of the local clubs.
