Santa Claus paid a special visit to senior residents last Saturday during a spaghetti feed at the Leo Meyer Senior Center in King City.

“We fed a lot of people!” said Kim Ruiz of Coast and Valley Properties, which helped make the Dec. 16 event a success.

Donations also came from the following businesses: Taylor Farms, King City Starbucks, Foods Co. in Soledad, King City Safeway, King City La Plaza Bakery, True Value in King City, Roy’s Swiss Sausage Factory, Zio Brand Meats in Salinas, Soledad Grocery Outlet and King City Dollar Store.

Special thanks were given to King City 4-H for helping decorate and James Ruiz (aka Santa), as well.
