SAN LUCAS — A San Lucas man was shot and killed early Sunday morning, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 3:35 a.m. on Sept. 5, gunshots were heard in the 53000 block of Julius Street in San Lucas. Deputies responded and found Ricardo Deleon, 45, dead from a gunshot wound.

MCSO said there is currently no suspect information. 

“The investigation is ongoing, and we ask that anyone having any information call Detective Rafael Garcia at (831)755-3914 or Detective Sergeant Bryan Hoskins at (831)755-3773,” the Sheriff’s Office posted on social media Sunday.
