KING CITY — King City Police Department will host its Coffee With a Cop event, meant to enable direct and friendly conversation between the community and their police officers, on Sept. 2 at Hestia Coffee Shop. The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Hestia is located at 320-B Broadway St. in King City.


CRIMINAL RECORDS

MONTEREY COUNTY — MILPA is providing record reduction and dismissal services in Monterey County in order to assist those who want a criminal record to have less of an impact on their lives. Qualifying clients can also receive job placement, substance abuse treatment, mental health services and legal services, which are free through the collective. For information, call 831-269-2505.


RAPID TESTING

MONTEREY COUNTY — ARCpoint Labs of Monterey Bay has announced it will offer weekly rapid Covid-19 testing for unvaccinated healthcare workers. ARCpoint announced at the beginning of the month, its personnel can go to the place of employment to test workers. Or, workers can go to ARCpoint’s labs in Monterey or Salinas to be tested.
