WRESTLING CAMP

SOLEDAD — Youth are invited to attend a free one-day workshop led by professional Lucha Libre wrestlers to learn the basics of this beloved Mexican sport. The Lucha Libre Camp for youth ages 5 to 18 is set for Saturday, Oct. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive. Space is limited. AIRSHOW RETURNS

SALINAS — The 41st annual California International Airshow is set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8 and 9, featuring the return of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds for their first appearance at Salinas Airport in 11 years. In addition, this year’s airshow will be headlined by the U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II Fighter Jet. Gates will open both days at 9 a.m., with flying starting at about 11 a.m. There will be numerous educational exhibits and displays for families to come out and enjoy a full day of entertainment.
