RIBBON CUTTING

SAN LUCAS — Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez and the community of San Lucas will have a ribbon cutting and resource fair on Wednesday, Oct. 26, to celebrate the completion of a Public Works improvement project that created sidewalks and paved streets in the South Monterey County town. The event will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at San Lucas Union School, 53675 San Benito St.


JOB FAIR

GREENFIELD — Monterey County Workforce Development Board is hosting a South County Job Fair for the U.S. Postal Service, UniSea and other local businesses on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Greenfield Community Center, 1351 Oak Ave., in Greenfield. Jobseekers are encouraged to register for the event at montereycountywdb.org/business-services/job-career-fairs/.


WELL-BEING SUMMIT

SALINAS VALLEY — The local business community is invited to attend a Worksite Well-Being Summit in either King City or Gonzales this week and learn how Blue Zones Project Monterey County can help build a more engaged and productive workforce for improved business performance.
