SOCCER CLOSURE

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Recreation Department has announced that the Soccer Complex at Patriot Park will be closed from Nov. 14 to Jan. 27 due to maintenance. This work includes reseeding, fertilizing and aerating, which will create even growth and repair of grass during this period. For more information, call 831-236-1230.


VACCINE CLINIC

CHUALAR — A Covid-19 and flu vaccine clinic will take place Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Chualar Fire Station, 24281 Washington St., in Chualar. Visit myturn.ca.gov to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins also welcome based on availability. Vaccine is available to individuals 6 months and up, including boosters as eligible. Minors will need a parent/guardian present, or must have an adult present and bring a signed and dated letter of consent from a parent/guardian.


CHAMBER AWARDS

KING CITY — Nominations are being sought for King City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture’s 2022 Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and Friend of the Community. This year, the Chamber is adding a new award, the Hermie Robles Youth Award, which will be given to a youth, ages 15 to 26, who is nominated for outstanding service to the community. The Annual Awards Dinner is set for March 4, 2023. Nomination forms are due by Nov. 18, and can be downloaded from the website kingcitychamber.com or picked up at the Chamber office at 200 Broadway St., Suite 40.
