BONUS BRIEF: FOOD SCRAPS
GONZALES — In collaboration with Salinas Valley Recycles, City of Gonzales now has kitchen pails for food scraps available. The implementation of this program helps turn food scraps into compost that can enrich soil on farms and in home gardens while keeping waste out of the landfill. Anyone interested in receiving a pail can stop by Gonzales City Hall at 147 Fourth St. to pick one up.
