VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

GREENFIELD — Food Bank for Monterey County and the City of Greenfield are asking for help from volunteers to distribute food to local residents. The latest food distribution took place on May 11, and they happen every other Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Greenfield Memorial Hall, 615 El Camino Real. Those interested in helping can call 831-540-9830.


EMERGENCY LEAVE

MONTEREY COUNTY — A free webinar will take place Tuesday, May 25, with information about emergency paid sick leave and emergency family medical leave. The presentation will be hosted by Monterey County Workforce Development Board and is free for Monterey County employers. Employers can register by calling 1-888-217-6899.


INSTAGRAM CHALLENGE

MONTEREY COUNTY — Transportation Agency for Monterey County is challenging those living, working or going to school in Monterey County to “Spring Into Action” for its Go831 Challenge through May 31. Participants can share their “springing into action” photos on the Go831 Instagram page at instagram.com/go_831/ with the hashtags #go831 #springintoaction831 and #telework.
