GREENFIELD — A job fair with multiple employers, hosted by the Monterey County Workforce Development Board, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Greenfield Civic Center, 599 El Camino Real. Jobseekers can register at to find out which employers will be in attendance.

KING CITY — Sol Treasures’ Backyard Concert Series is kicking off the 2023 series with pop and rock music by Sweetwater Duo on Friday, May 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the gallery, 519 Broadway St., in King City. The free event is open to everyone to enjoy an evening in the gallery’s backyard while listening to some live music.


SALINAS — U.S. Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren has announced that while she is in Washington, D.C., members of her staff will be available to help constituents in California’s 18th Congressional District during mobile office hours on Wednesdays, May 10, 17 and 24.
