SALINAS — National Steinbeck Center (NSC) is currently working with nearby museums and other educational organizations to provide youth with a fun and educational experience at this year’s Steinbeck Camp. During a five-day camp, from July 10-14, campers will engage with their community, make friends, learn and have fun. NSC is partnering with its neighboring Railroad Museum and Pacific Grove Natural Science Museum, and has also coordinated visits from local artists and writers to present. With its participating partners, NSC aims to improve campers’ writing and art skills both in fictional and non-fiction mediums. In addition, breakfast and lunch options will be provided each day of the camp to help combat food insecurities. Volunteers are being sought to help the National Steinbeck Center with this experience. Sign up online via bit.ly/42pPh5A.
