BACKYARD CONCERT

KING CITY — Sol Treasures’ 2023 Backyard Concert Series continues with folk, country and rock ‘n’ roll music by Dave, Brian & The 40 Hour Work Week on Friday, June 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. in King City. The free event is open to everyone to enjoy an evening in the gallery’s backyard at 519 Broadway St., while listening to some live music.


ICE CREAM SOCIAL

SOLEDAD — LEO Foundation will be hosting an Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cesar Chavez Park on Front Street in Soledad. The community is invited to stop by and enjoy frozen treats.


TORCH RUN

KING CITY — King City Police Department officers will be escorting the Special Olympics torch, the “Flame of Hope,” on its journey to the 2023 Special Olympics Northern California Summer Games on Wednesday, June 21. The mission of the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run, in partnership with communities, is to support Special Olympics Northern California through fundraising and public awareness, which in turn enhances the quality of life of athletes.
