SOCCER CAMP

GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield’s Recreation Department invites families to register their children for youth soccer camp, a four-week camp focused on skill development and conditioning at Patriot Park from 4 to 5 p.m. The registration deadline is Jan. 20, and the program begins Jan. 23. STATE OF THE CITY

KING CITY — The Annual State of the City Address for King City is scheduled for noon on Jan. 20. This year’s program will take place virtually over Zoom. Mayor Mike LeBarre, City Manager Steve Adams and Interim Police Chief Keith Boyd will provide an update on the City’s efforts and plans. Col. Charles Bell, garrison commander at Fort Hunter Liggett, will provide information on FHL happenings. VIRTUAL WHALEFEST

MONTEREY — Fisherman’s Wharf Association will present a virtual version of the 11th Annual Whalefest Monterey from Jan. 26 through 29. This year will be a free virtual event for viewing anywhere around the world with educational content for all ages. For information, visit whalefest.org.
