PLAYGROUND CLOSURE

KING CITY — City of King will temporarily close the playground at Forden Park for repairs to the playground surface beginning Feb. 8 and lasting for one week. The remainder of the park will stay open for public use. The form surface will be repaired and resealed. The project is part of an effort of ongoing maintenance of the City’s parks to ensure they remain in operational and safe condition. Contact King City Hall at 831-385-3281 for more information.


BALLET CLASSES

GREENFIELD — Youth ballet classes are returning to the Greenfield Recreation Center beginning Saturday, Feb. 12. There is limited space for the classes, of which there are two age groups (3-6 years old and 7-11 years old). PET CLINIC

SOLEDAD — SPCA for Monterey County will be hosting a low-cost mobile spay/neuter clinic in Soledad on Saturday, Feb. 12. Appointments are required for the pet services, which will take place at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive, for Monterey County residents only.
