CHRISTMAS AT THE FORT

JOLON — Fort Hunter Liggett is inviting the community to a Christmas celebration at the installation on Saturday, Dec. 11. Holiday activities for the evening, from 4 to 9 p.m., include ugly sweater contest, light show, live karaoke, Christmas movie at the theater, BINGO, white elephant gift exchange, pictures with Santa, youth games and food and beverages. CENTENNIAL GALA

SOLEDAD — City of Soledad will celebrate its 100th anniversary during the Centennial Gala on Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and awards at 7 p.m., followed by magic and music later in the evening. As of Friday, all tickets are sold out for the semi-formal/black-tie recommended affair.


PARADE PARTICIPANTS

GONZALES — City of Gonzales is looking for participants in its Holiday Lights Parade on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m. Setup will take place at Centennial Park beginning at 5 p.m. Those interested in spreading some holiday cheer can RSVP at teamsideline.com/gonzales or by calling 831-675-5000.
